DigitalHeritage Expo

 The community is invited to submit proposals for applications, digital artworks, or technical demos to build up the DigitalHeritage Expo at DH2015. Aligned to the congress, this exhibition will be organised in an important museum (Granada Sciences Park Museum) and open to conference participants and to the public, It will showcase project results and present applications about Virtual Archaeology, Virtual Museums and Digital Art.

Applications and artworks must be finished and submitted by the deadlines defined in this call. Submissions should not exceed 4 A4-pages (including images, references, etc.) addressing the scope of the exhibition themes and highlight innovation (cultural/technological), impact (cognitive, artistic, communicative), novelty of the approach, and typology of the installation/application, of the contents and of the interactive system. Any supplementary visual material that could better explain the application to the scientific committee is welcomed. Indications about: hardware, space required, type of visualisation and of interaction is also important to be provided.

Selected Expo Applications will be exhibited during the Congress and an interactive electronic publication will be published, as Vol.2 of the Congress Proceedings.

DigitalHeritage Expo will award 3 Best Exhibits, each one representative of the following classes:

  1. Quality of Content
  2. Technical Proficiency
  3. The People’s Choice.




DigitalHeritage Expo is the largest exhibition on Digital Heritage ever organised. Spread over more than 1000 sqm of space, the exhibition will divided into categories such as: Immersive Environments, DigitalHeritage @ Work, Virtual Museums, Edutainment, Art and Creativity, Projections and VIdeos. DigitalHeritage 2013 has been explored by more than 5000 visitors!

Supported by BMTA’s Archeovirtual and ARQUEOLOGICA, the Expo is hosted in the great location of the Science Park Museum in Granada from the 28th of September until the 2nd of October 2015. Best exhibitions proposals will not only be accessible for hundreds of participants of the DigitalHeritage2015 International Congress, but will also for the visitors of the museum.

DigitalHeritage Expo will award 3 Best Exhibits, each one representative of the following classes: quality of Content, Technical Proficiency, The People’s Choice.
